Sometimes I feel as though I use my right arm only in my swing. I'm a right handed golfer. Shouldnt I be using more left arm than right arm or 50/50?

I got the same problem. I pretty sure it creates problems, as the left arm should lead.

Not necessarily. I'm boiling stuff WAY down, but people who use more left arm are more "swingers" of the golf club, and people who use more right arm are more "hitters" of the golf ball.

No problem with either. They're different, but end up accomplishing the same goal, and most people will say nobody's a pure swinger or a pure hitter anyway.

I use my right hand for speed and use a light grip with that hand. My left hand is my guide hand. But its like 25% speed creation left and 75% speed creation right.

Erik is right. Nothing wrong with using the right more but you need to what it's doing.

I use my left as a lever and hit with the right.

I could use right arm or left arm ,or shoulder or hip, or spine etc........

It is just personal preference. Guys seriously, Aren't they all connected?? Maintain the cock in your wrist and coil and heck you can even swing with your knees... I tell you and I swear on my mothers, I can hit the ball decent just pivoting around my foot.

Although I must say, turn your back against the ball so your left shoulder touches the chin and just swing the left shoulder toward right field gives a good combo of power and simplicity.

Trust me,if there is one guy that has done all kinds of crazy stuff pivoting around different joints,it would be me, and I telll you it has more to do with how you move the joints than what joints you use or what body part and golf is a lot simpler if you try to pivot and control one and make the right movement than if you are doing crazy things with 14 different joints . Golf is crazy because there are so many pivots.

I feel most golfers that have a problem with aiming, use to less of the right arm ....... one of the pro's overhere shows how it is done, if you want to throw a ball underhand with you right arm, the ball is steered by the right hand movement and the moment of letting the ball go of course ...... same in swing, right hand is dominant in direction.
