I did a quick search and didn't find this topic.

I'm a walker and have been carrying my bag since getting back into the sport last year. Lately with the hot, humid midwest weather I have been considering a push cart. I believe I have narrowed down my choice to the clicgear carts. I think I can get the 2.0 for around $30 cheaper than the 3.0. Now to my question.....

For anyone who has used both carts, are the additional features on the 3.0 worth the additional $$. From what I can gather on the net the 3.0 has added the net under the handle, and moved the cup holder to the side which has expanded the console holding capacity a bit. It looks like they have also changed the brake mechanism a little.

Just wondering is these changes are worth the $$. Thank you in advance for any input.

worth it for me b/c i put my range finder in that 'net' thing under the handle.. a pain without it.

I have a 2.0 and don't reaaly see anythign wrong with it. I have a SkyCaddie SG5 that fits perfectly inside the center console (without any reception issues either), and I use an insulated pocket on my bag for my drink so I don't really use the cup holder. The brake mechanism might be the only reason I'd go for a 3.0 because it looksl ike it's much easier to engage than on the 2.0 model. You have to get used to the 2.0's handle for a while before you can engage it without trouble.

I've got the 2.0 but I agree with vmsea about the "net", it's super useful. Especially playing in the winter, Fall or Spring where you might start your round with a pull over on and yu can just throw it in that net rather than stuff everything your golf bag.

I wish they would just offer the net as an add on so us bums still with the 2.0 can have it.

Well, not sure if it is still available, but I ordered mine from Dicks Sporting Goods yesterday. They had 20% off one single item. plus free shipping. Ended up with the 3.0 for $170 to my door. It may have ended yesterday though.

As far as what I have heard, The 3.0 is worth it. Plus any more goodies that come out will be for the 3.0 right now.

I went to my local shop and tried both of them, even strapping my full bag in and pushing it around. Functionally, both felt the same but I really liked the 3.0 due to the brake lever design and the net. I use the net for my glove and even a Gatorade.

I went with the 2.0 and I couldn't be happier. I had a coupon for Dicks and wound up getting it for $130. For that price I can live without a net!

I went with the 3.0. Bought online @ Golf Galaxy for $187 to my door. I played my first 18 with it yesterday afternoon. All I can say is wow! It sure is nice not taking my bag off and on 60 times per round. Stable and a breeze to push. I love walking, but I will never carry another bag as long as I live!
