I think its a mental thing with me. I have yet to break 80 on my course with a par 71. Last week played well all day and made the mistake of checking my score card with 2 to play. All I had to do was play last 2 in over for a 79. One a par 5 about 590 but straight with not much trouble. Hit good drive had about 305 left to center of green. Made double from there and bogey on the last a par 3 for an 80. Nothing more frustrating when you have never broken 80 than an 80

FINALLY done it. Hit alot of greens in reg today. Putted well but still made a few doubles

is the yellow tees what you play for your handicap?

nice work on breaking 80 though.

Driver - LV4 10* R flex
Wood - sam snead persimmon 2 wood (for windy days)

yards, well I think they are. I don't know many people who can hit 161 metre 7i's.

I dont know.. lol. Should i be playing off the white tees for my handicap cards?

I dont ctually have a handicap i just filled it out to what i think i could play to.

      Yes.  Did he not hit the range before the round? When my first few pre-round drives aren't what I expect, the first thing I check is my driver settings, in case they changed.  I am on my second adjustable driver and I am still not trusting that golf gremlins don't change it between rounds. The second thing I check is my alignment and setup, and that is far more often the culprit than my settings. In any case, there are some simple things that I imagine should be on a professional player's pre-round checklist that I am surprised when they aren't.  One of those is the settings for any adjustable clubs.
