Whats the key to a longer shots?

No, it won't, virtually every good golfer on the planet has their right foot lifted at impact, and the others are left handed.

Depends what you mean by lifted. Lots (most) of players hit it long with the back foot on the ground at impact, at least not up on its toes. It is more common for this foot to bank in and the outside of the foot just barely being off the ground at impact.

The back foot is mostly an indication of the hip push and hip turn. The more the hips push forward or rotate open, the more the back foot will lift. There are of course those with an active back foot or knee, but that move doesn't really provide a whole lot. The reason someone might relate it to a slice is that spinning the hips too fast can throw the arms out and cause an out-in swingpath.

Good point. There are also some guys who's foot is still on the ground ie. not yet banked. Phil (for much of his career), Lucas Glover, Kenny Perry, Moe Norman, just off the top of my head.

They're probably doing it wrong.
