So far, from what I've seen, all of the finalist have been painful to watch. Not sure about Martin Hall, but Player and Placios-Jansen was were not good at all.

The whole "contest" --if we can call it that-- was marketed as if they were searching for an unknown instructor who could become the next big Golf Channel instructor. They had tons of quality submissions from teachers who put a lot of effort into their submissions. In the end, they chose three finalist (not four like originally was said they would), and all three finalists aren't uknown professionals at all. Martin and Karen have both been on the golf channel numerous times. So, yeah, it was pretty much rigged; just a marketing ploy to get viewers and/or traffic to their website.

Of course they handpicked these goobers. No surprise here. They already knew who the winner was before the candidates were announced. This is just a stunt to draw some attention to the show. Frankly, I don't care as long as I don't have to see Mr. LET'S DO THIS over and over. -Dan
