Need a new bag as my faithful wilson has given up on me.

Can any one recommend a good stand bag that will last for years? I like the look of the ping hoofer or craz e lite bags or the titleist bags?

Only got bout £70 to spend but could strech it if the bag is worth it.

Is the new ogio schling bag any good and worth the £130 price tag?

Golf is a game whose aim is to hit a very small ball into an even smaller hole, with weapons singularly ill-designed for the purpose.

I've been using an Ogio Grom bag for a while and its a solid bag. I like their club organization system. My bag is a little heavier than some others but I've been using a pull-cart most of the time.

From what I can tell an Ogio bag will last forever. You might find a Ping or Titleist stand bag will be lighter if you carry all the time.

i love the club glove collegiate II bag. its very versatile and as a long warranty, plus it fits perfectly in the club glove burst proof travel bag, the best around. you can find them cheap on eBay as the model is a few years old now.

i am carrying a sun mountain now, it was a gift but i like it. very light, has been durable up to now. if i were to buy a bag, i would opt for a jones bag. very light, durable and has double strap system. they have a number of models depending on how light you want it to be and how many pockets you need. i used to carry one and really loved it, for a long time. a very good bag.

in the bag:
driver-titleist D2 10.5* w/aldila nv shaft
3-adams speedline fast 10 w/aldila shaft
hybrid-titleist 585 17* w/aldila shaft
irons-titleist 735cm w/ttdg s-300 shafts

wedges-cleveland 588, 53* and 60* w/ttdg shafts

putter-scotty circa 62 #1, gun metal finish

    • Day 297: putted for about 25 minutes, working on 30 foot putts. Then went and hit balls for about an hour, just focused on getting the ball to go where I want it. Not my best session, but figured it out better at the end.
    • I do use a 7 wood. Love it! Do have a specific question about 7 woods?
    • @DrizZzY does. 😄
    • does anybody still use a 7 wood? if not what do you use instead>
    • Day (2 May 24) - somehow I missed posting both Tues and Weds practice sessions - so the streak ends and a new one begins…. Focus today was on ball first contact using the Divot Board for reference.   Worked with 7i, 9i and GW hitting hard foam balls.  Started hap hazardly and then settled back into my pre-shot setup.  Much more consistent in the latter.
