Shot 2 under today which is good for a tie for 13th out of 113 players! Top 20% get in.

Good thing I had a late start today, it was off and on rain all morning. By the time I got there, rain clouds were still around and I got a soaking on the range. Once my time teed off, the skies cleared though. There was a bit of a wind though for the majority of the round. 1.5 clubs at the most.

I played pretty damn solid. Only hit 2 wayward shots and one lousy chip, one of the shots, a pull hook tee shot, didn't cost me anything though. 420y par 4 1st (playing as my 10th) Found myself need to hit a low draw from 156y with a tree in my follow-through. Pulled off about as good as a 5 iron from there which left me with 35 yards. Hit a nice chip, made the 5 foot putt!

Things feel really good! I'm excited for the next three rounds. Tomorrow is an early day, up at 5:30. Breakfast at 6, and 45 minute shuttle to the club for my 8:10 tee time.

I'm off to bed. Until tomorrow...
