Does anyone know if Callaway's official shop (shop.callawaygolf.com) ever runs sales on any of their iron sets?

I received a few gift cards to the online store and was looking to purchase a new set of irons.  The gift cards cover $250 of the cost of a set, so I wouldn't have to pay more than a $350-$450 out of pocket (depending on the set), but wanted to check if anyone knew of certain timeframes for sales so that I could pay a little less.  I'm not in dire need of new irons yet, so my old ones will suffice for a while...

I wasn't sure if there were certain times of the year when they run club sales to flush out older models for new ones, or something to that nature.  The gift cards are ONLY for the online store by the way...

Any help is appreciated.

I am not sure about the sale, but I would see if you can use it on the pre-owned store, because if you are not set (no pun intended) on the newest irons you can get older sets for significantly less.  If you can find the set in a "like new" condition on their site you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.  I believe you can find last years models on there.

This weekend they have a 15% off sale until the 20th so you would be able to get even more off.  JAT.

Great suggestion on Callaway Preowned. I got all my clubs there in "like new" condition and they were brand new in shrink wrap. Awesome place to get great prices on clubs. Service is great too. You can have length/lie adjusted before they ship out if you need it.

I'll third Callaway preowned.  If you can use it there, you will find great deals.  I got my irons in "like new" and all were still wrapped except the 6 iron and even that had no marks on it.

Ya, I think they have sales for the pre-owned site. Actually, I think I just got an e-mail today that they are having a sale on the pre-owned site. I doubt the new clubs you can order from their normal site are ever on sale.

I've done most of my golf club shopping at Callaway pre-owned and have been nothing but happy.  Their ratings are a little bit inconsistent, but tend to be conservative (i.e., the club is probably better than the rating it is given).  The only counter-example was the 7I in my set, which had a chip in the leading edge of the toe, which they claim not to have.  However, it was really pretty minor, and is 100% cosmetic, so I was content to live with it.  The rest of the set was in better condition than I expected.

In the bag:
FT-iQ 10° driver, FT 21° neutral 3H
T-Zoid Forged 15° 3W, MX-23 4-PW
Harmonized 52° GW, Tom Watson 56° SW, X-Forged Vintage 60° LW
White Hot XG #1 Putter, 33"

    • Day 23: weird day, and only had a little bit of time. Just did mirror work again, working on where the elbow is in the downswing
    • I flipped over to this tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone else watch? I picked it up during the golf relay event, but seeing these pros out having fun in alternative events was refreshing and entertaining. I’m sure it will be on in reruns in the next week or so, so I won’t spoil the outcome. Im curious what others thought of it. I’m recording it’s later airing to see the beginning.
    • Day 443 - 2025-12-17 Made a few swings in testing some things out at another academy. Might pop up on someone else's podcast in a few weeks.
    • Day 37 (17 Dec 25) - nine hole round with my good friend.  We got paired up with a couple of the men’s group regulars as part of their shootout.  Started off with a wonderful quad bogie and then a dbl on three to be six over thru three holes.  Game went 180° over the next five as I shot one under (including a chip in birdie on hole six and four up and down 1 putt pars) for a net finish of five over. What could have been a really tough nine became a solid finish due to staying in the moment and not checking out.  Great day in course management and keeping perspective .
    • Day 127 12-17 Backswing and flow practice. Took advantage of the 60 degeee weather(it was 20 degrees Sunday)
