Is the Bionic Glove still USGA non-conforming?

I know in 2006 the USGA said the Bionic glove was “legal” to use if you had arthritis of the hands. Louisville Slugger (the maker of the glove) was fighting them to get them to be deemed as conforming in all instances. Did this ever come about?

Interesting.
The new performance model (first picture) is conforming but their original classic model (second picture) appears to still not be conforming.
In looking at the two pictures the difference seems pretty slight.

why would they be non conforming?

do they give you an advantage?

I bought the glove a number of years ago just to try out and there are pads in the palm and across the big knuckles to reduce vibration. That could conceivably mold or lock your grip to the club. It was actually a really comfortable glove ha ha ha..
