I find all my clubs easy to hit, so you should set your bag up exactly like I do. Keep an eye on my signature in case I change it up.

i'm sure that's exactly what he was looking for. sometimes it's best to not say anything.

Everett, my suggestion would be to hit both and see which performs better for you. I've used both a hybrid and a fairway, but prefer the fairway in that it's consistently longer than the hybrid, and i tend to use it on par 5's or short 4's off the tee. the hybrid is ideal for getting distance out of the rough that a 5W just wouldn't be able to get through without turning the head. like i said, best thing to do is get on a monitor or the course with a demo club or two and find out which YOU prefer.

Something I saw recently in Golf Digest: for players with 100 mph swing speeds, a 5-wood goes about as far as a hybrid, but for players with 85 mph swing speeds, a 5-wood goes 15 yds further than a hybrid. Hope this helps.

The OP queston is sort of a loaded question.  Which is easier to hit depends on 2 things,

#1 - You

#2 - Is the club "right" for You.

If club and shaft matches you and your swing, they will both be "easier" to hit.  If club and shaft is wrong....they are harder to hit.   Give me a club that is not fitted to me and my handicap could jump 10 strokes without a doubt, since the "clubs" are not easy to hit.  I'm a firm believer that clubs/shafts must be fitted thus making all your clubs "easy" to hit.

This echoes comments from club reps at a demo day last spring: Both the Adams and the Callaway guy said that the 2H is a difficult club for the average player to hit.
