Pretty much says it all.. Looking for a S/T instructor in the Central Cali area. Unless I want to drive to Orange County, I seem to be SOL.

Sorry, I don't know of any.  Your right in between Dana Dahlquist in Long Beach and Paul Gorman in Marin.  Dana is worth the drive if it's reasonable for you.

Yea I saw Dana was like 125$/h or something. It was my option if I was willing to drive to L.B. a couple times a week... haha

I'd much prefer closer so I have more opportunities to meet and talk.

Can't pass up the opportunity...sorry...have you considered evolvr? (Our, Golf Evolution that is, online instruction...plenty of referrals...great results...very affordable).  http://www.evolvr.com

I'd recommend evolvr as well, it's been great for my game.  The guys have a knack for communicating what you need and how to do it.  I understand you want someone local, but in the absence of that, evolvr is a great option.  It's instruction from the best.

As far as I know, we are out of luck.

I've gone to see both Gorman and Dana on separate occasions and enjoyed both. Paul was a mini-school with Bennett and Dana was a private. Both occasions were splurges for me. The hard part is keeping it up and getting feedback from someone when I need a check-up. Dan (iTeach) is doing a school in Stockton in April -- it will be worth it then. I've worked with all three and they are all great. Is what we really need is a convert in our area, though.

See Mike's post about evolvr above. Not even a "splurge." :-)

Funny enough the reason I held off from Evolvr was because I didn't have a good enough camera for swing analysis (or so I thought) However, I just splurged and bought a Casio ex-fh20.... So I feel an evolvr account coming my way here soon. The camera gets here on wednesday :)
