I live in Manhattan, so there is nothing as local as I'd like. The easiest one for me to get to is Van Cortlandt: http://golfnyc.com/vancortlandt/index.html . My fave NYC course is Douglaston- short yardage (8 par 3s), but fun layout with many blind shots. http://www.golfnyc.com/douglaston/index.html .

Sadly I don't really have a home course as I just started playing whilst on vacation a short while ago, but I hope to call a place home soon!

I don't know what I would consider my home course, but I've probably played the most at Nickol Knoll Golf Course in Arlington Heights, IL. It's a nice 9-hole, par 3 course built atop the landfill that used to serve as Walter Payton's training ground ("Payton's Hill").

I really do not have a home course. I am just starting out...but I mainly play at Mt Adams GC and a few 9 hole courses(Westwood, River Ridge)

      Day 25: range and putting session. Worked about an hour at the range. Filmed a bit - think some progress but need more. Then went and worked on putts within 10 feet for about 20 minutes.

      Day 45 (22 Apr 26) - good friend wanted to play the Weds shootout. Glad we did as I had the most consistent round in a while - 38/41 for a 79 (first sub 80 in months): 27 putts, 9 pars (7 were up and down 1 putts), 8 bogies, 1 birdie and 0 dbls or worse!  This is the 1st full round where I’ve not had at least one dbl (or worse) and 0 penalties.  I also came 1 hole from having “no sixes” (bogied the par five 16th).  All the drills came together today for a solid round.

      Day 568 - 2026-04-22 Created a 33-minute playlist and paused it while I stopped. I mostly did some backswing and a little downswing work with the mirror. This got me most of the way through the playlist, so then I chopped for a good 15 or 20 minutes.
