I have been playing since about August of last year (did not really play at all in the winter) and finally broke 100!  The crazy part is it is coming off one of my worse days on the golf course ever.

This Monday I went and played with my Dad after pulling an all nighter studying for a test( I don't recommend this haha).  I was playing extremely poor and was scoring at least 10's on every hole it seemed like.  I was pretty disgusted after that round because I have been seeing my game improve a lot lately and that was a major step back.

Today was the first time I went out since then and I had my best round yet! Shot a 99.  I started off the day with a par on the first hole and then got double bogey's on the next 4.  On the 6th hole I sank a 25 foot putt for par which really got me excited, I was putting better then I ever had before and knew I was on pace to have a pretty good day.

Wound up with 47 after the front 9 with only 14 putts, putting was by far better then it has ever been.  Unfortunately on the back 9 my putting unraveled a bit and I finished with a 52 with 22 putts on the back 9.  Still managed to come in at under 99 so I am pretty excited!  Going to start working on my putting a lot harder because I feel like I will be able to consistently stay in the 90s if I can stay under 30ish putts a round.

Finished with 6 bogey's , 2 par's and only 3 triple bogey's. Got so close to a birdie on a Par 3 and then managed to 3 putt.

Congratulations on breaking 100! It's a great feeling. Although once you do it a few times, you're going to be gunning to break 90!

Haha yeah I know, right now my goal is to get to a point where I can consistently stay in the 90s.  I am sure there are a lot more 100+ rounds in my near future :)

Congrats!  Remember the quickest ways to lower those scores is to work on 100 yards and in.

I guess I am going to make 90 my next goal, 95 will be nice but I feel like that's actually within reach right now.  Breaking 90 is not haha.

Its called Kimberton Golf Course in PA, its pretty easy but nice for the price.  I was able to get a student membership for a really good price so that's usually where I go.
