For my Ping Eye Irons and Driver, HY, F-wood.....(basically my whole set I guess) I want the same grips on everything :)

Narrowed it down to Tour Velvet GP, Lamkin Crossline Tour, Lamkin Crossline (black/white), or Tacki-mac( like the idea, never felt one) ....

This is HARD, lol

Anyways, just seeing if one of you had to choose between the four, what would you pick?

In My Burton Viper Stand Bag :

Eye Black Dot Irons 3-PW / R7 Quad 10.5 Degrees / Square Two Pilot 7 Wood 21 Degrees / Square Two Pilot 4 Hybrid 23 Degrees / XK Hale Irwin Series Blade SW 58 Degree / Rossa Lambeau 7 CGB Putter

Back Up Set - Elite (Tour Balancing System) 2-SW / Shoes - Superlites

I've had great luck with the tacki-mac grips that I have.  They are the dual molded half chord.  Great product and half the price of the comparable Golf Pride Decade Multicompound.

Of those choices, I'd go with either the Tour Velvets or the Crosslines... both are really good grips.  If these were my clubs however, I'd go with none of those... you should check out PURE grips (www.puregrips.com), they are abosolutely wonderful... I had the Soft Wraps on all of my clubs and loved them (unfortunately those clubs got stolen).  If you like the feel of the Crossline or Tour Velvet they have the Pro model which is similar.  I found that they last (I had mine for a few months using them 4+ times per week with zero wear) and I put them on myself which was super easy (they go on with an air compressor so you'll need one of those to go that direction).

Went through this exact same on my new CG16 clubs put on Lamkins Cross played 2 rounds in them and replaced them with Golf Pride Muiti compound.

Love em....

Was considering the IoMics however no one had any in stock and I did not feel comfortable purchasing them site unseen...

I do like the golf pride allot and i think it boils down to what you like the best.. the Lamkins just seemed a bit slick in humid consitions..

Best of luck in your search.. and they are super easy to replace yourself..

I second the PURE Grips!  I just put the Pro model on mine, hybrid through wedges, and they are awesome!

I've tried a few brands in the last year or so and personally feel the New Decade MCs give you the best hold on the club, period. But man, they are hard on the hands if you practice a lot. I have calluses like a ditch digger! I think the grips that best temper justice with mercy are the Lamkin N-DUR 3GEN.

If Golf Pride is on your radar, they have a grip fitting thing on their site. It will direct you to your best grip from their line. You might be able to then find comparable grips from other manufacturers.
