Curious if anyone else had this issue and whats causing it....

The main issue is that Ive been hooking my 3 wood big time.  Its been costing me two to three strokes per round.  I have no issues with hooking with any other club.  Read bellow for what seemed to fix it.

Basically Ill grip the club with my left hand at address, then my right.  I feel completely neutral, and the head looks neutral.  Then Ill take the club back to parallel (3 o'clock) then bring the club back to address only to find that the face is now completely shut?

After really concentrating on what my hands were doing I realized my left hand (while still at address) would slip a little inside the glove and reposition itself.

I ended up taking my glove off, gripping the club like I normally do, and next thing you know the ball started jumping off my 3 wood again.

So heres my thoughts.  Maybe its happening with every club in my bag yet its more apparent with my 3 wood?  Is this a glove to big/small issue?  I wear about as skin tight of glove as possible.  Are synthetic gloves known for this?  If I have to Ill just use grip tape instead of a glove but Id rather not.

Just a thought.......how tight is your glove?  It should be like a second skin is what i've been told.  I used to use a M/L Cadet glove and my instructor noticed too much "bunching" up on my glove and suggested I got to a smaller size glove, and guess what, i went to a Cadet Small (momentarily blow to my ego) but it's improved my grip.  It's helped me "feel" more and grip more relaxed, and also, prevent "twisting" that you seemed to be experiencing and something that I used to experience.

My current glove is a Cadet ML.  It fits tight enough to where the leather bridges from the fatty area under my thumb over to the opposite side pad that Ben Hogan says the shaft is supposed to align with.  I honestly dont think I could get my fingers into anything smaller?

Don't wear a glove.  I only wear a glove when it is really hot.

Gonna try this tomorrow!  Have 10 days worth of vacation to figure it out.
