Well, it was fun. Lots of little struggles today, but the course wasn't bad. Shane told me to just hit my hybrid off the tee for the back nine because I was struggling with the driver. I averaged 260 off the tee with my 2 hybrid. Was even able to pull the driver out on the longer holes and hit it well enough to not lose the ball. Score didn't reflect how well I was striking the ball, 3 putted several times and flew the green repeatedly because I was getting extra distance with my clubs. All in all, a great day out there.

Beautiful weather. Kinda sad that my driver can't keep up with your hybrid. =p

I am still struggling to understand that myself. I'm pretty excited to get my new driver Monday, hopefully I'll be more consistent with it than I am with the nike.

Wish I could have gone with you guys but events beyond my control made golf impossible on Saturday. Echo Hills is a little more my speed of course. I wouldn't have minded getting back out there.

I'm pretty sure it was Hidden Lake prior to its closure earlier this year. Now I'm not real sure.

      Okay, I'm genuinely curious about this "biodegradable leather" trend in golf. Are we talking snake oil here? I mean, golf balls, clubs... they all end up in the water eventually. Is this just greenwashing, or is there actually a real environmental benefit? And honestly, does it even perform as well as traditional leather? I don't want to sacrifice distance for the planet, you know? Anyone with real-world experience with these eco-friendly golf goods? Spill the tea!
