Doesn't everyone?

No. You didn't sound like a prude at all.....

I want to mention that these dummies repeatedly ran 10 feet in front of tee boxes as people started their swings. Clearly stupid. No one was hurt in this MTV JACKASS type of dare, but I wonder what the reaction would have been if one of them got hit in the eye with a golf ball.
Ease up Mr. Holier Than Thow..... Would you rather they be breaking in to your car or home, while you're hitting balls on the range?

I'm absolutely not trying to be holier then thou . Even you must agree that this behavior is dangerous and does not belong on the driving range. Would I rather these punks be breaking into my house or car? No, I'd much rather they be validating natural selection theories somewhere else. Like a busy truck route.
Maybe the people that can't take the "punks" in public (get used to it) should stay under their own lit'l bridge or cute lit'l white tower?

I disagree, this was a busy time at the range. Parents were teaching the next PGA/LPGA 10 year old hopefuls. Expensive private lessons where being given in the reserved tees, and I paid money to practice my swing. I assumed I wouldn't be exposed to liability issues if I hit a dummy in the eye with a ball. Nor did I expect to be annoyed and distracted with loud boisterous activity; punks running down range and whiffs of illegal substances. All perfectly reasonable expectations for a paid practice session.. On a lighter side, I'm happy my original post is now a hot forum topic

Yeah, a lot of pressure. Rise above it. Harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness energy, block bad.

Inthetwenties,

Don't apologize, the urban vermin you speak of is showing up more and more in the main stream. Unfortunately golf was one of the last bastions of what was once a civilized society. I guess we have to be politically correct and let the dregs of humanity destroy that too.

Ah what the hell. Learn to hit a ball which runs at enormous speed very low to the ground. Ball well back, maybe a 4 iron, and a wrist-fee backswing, not too fast on the downswing, and as you make contact you yell SORRY. Soon, the problem will solve itself. Always phone the Medics first, it creates the impression you really didn't know anyone was in your line of fire. After all, you were practising with your iPod earphones in, you didn't hear anything and hey: nobody's supposed to be out there right? It only has to happen ONCE. And face it, if you DID bean one of them on the ankle, shin, or ass, you would go to sleep that night with a smile on your face. Especially if you have a little toke before going to bed.

You should have maned-up and done something about it. Venting and complaining on the forum doesn't resolve anything.

O.K., it was wrong and dangerous, but they'll be rightback out again until someone knocks the shi... out of them or stops them from doing it. Hit em' with your driver, take their weed away and chill at home that evening with some cheetos & bownies...

^yeah I don't know if I would intentionally hit 'em but I would definatly say something to the range operators, and maybe take matters into my own hands by talking to them directly.

Didn't you get bombarded for being such a stuffed-shirted prude on the last forum you posted this on?

My suggestion was to man-up, take the weed from them, smoking some in your tiled, bubbly tub and enjoying some Cheetos and Brownies in the comfort of your ivory tower......

I try to bean the range picker with my driver and 3 iron, but I've never succeeded. Usually, I'm too high. The people at my driving range aren't that stupid, though. If some idiot did get out there, I would take a shot at him with my 3 iron.
