drills for coming through the ball

Hey guys

I have been losing a lot of balls out to the right. My contact is good but the ball just goes about 5-10 yards right of the target. Then at the range I will try to make adjustments i do it to much and hit some pull hooks, pretty frustrating. Any good tips for coming through the ball without over doing it?

aim left lol. fades are beautiful and hold greens and fairways much better than a draw or a hook (for a right hander) missing the fairway on the right is generally better than missing on the left.

a tip for you though is the check your grip, then check your swing path, then focus on keeping your head down through impact.

It's possible you're not closing the clubface.

Try relaxing. Seriously. It allows you to finish the swing and not get tense during any phase.

Many times we are trying new moves on the course or an the range and forget to relax and let our athleticism take over.

First, make sure your lined up were you want. Your mind might say at the target, but your body will actually be way right or left..

Second, if your hitting it way right, and then if you try to get through you hit it left. Your getting stuck, try shortening your backswing up, 3/4 swing. Give that a shot, you might be taken such a big backswing your hips are way out infront.
