My digital camera broke. My hard drive crashed. Now I need to buy a new digi cam and buy the most updated but not too expensive golf swing analysis software because the old unnamed golf analysis software company won't give me a new activation key  (yes I lost the old one) so now I can't re-use the old software on my new hard drive. Maybe it's time to update anyway. Any suggestions?

My suggestion for software is Kinovea - http://www.kinovea.org/en/

Its open source and free.  I have used V1 Home and cSwing in the past and I'd consider Kinovea to be a better product.

As for camera there have been lots of recommendations posted in other threads.

There is a new(er) Casio Camera out now which can do very high frame rates - above the 30 or 60fps you normally see.  Here is the model:

Casio Exilim Ex-fh100 High Speed Camera

And it can do up to 1,000fps (yes that is one thousand and not a typo).  Goes for $299 on Amazon.

If you want a cheaper solution, Kodak has their Playsport for around $110 and it can do 720p @ 60fps.

And Kinovea is great software for viewing these vidoes....slo-mo, line draw, frame by frame, etc. etc.

Casios have been able to do high-speed video for a while now, that model is actually a few years old.

In my bag:

Driver: Titleist TSi3 | 15º 3-Wood: Ping G410 | 17º 2-Hybrid: Ping G410 | 19º 3-Iron: TaylorMade GAPR Lo |4-PW Irons: Nike VR Pro Combo | 54º SW, 60º LW: Titleist Vokey SM8 | Putter: Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas H7
