Which manufacturer do you think makes the best feeling clubs? individual products as well as entire product lineup.

I got into an argument with my buddies the other day and I figure you all are the best ones to decide who wins.

thanks!

Woods- Taylormade

Irons- Mizuno; without a doubt, question or concern

Putter/Wedges- Titleist

With that being said it is one of those three for sure. Other manufacturers will put up a good fight, though. (Cleveland, Ping, Nike) If I personally had to pick one I would choose Mizuno. They're so smooth especially in their irons.

If ya hit 'em on the sweet spot they all feel about the same. It's the mishits that make the difference.

I'm with you on all of those selections, however, I do play the Mizuno wedges as I feel like they play more like my irons.  But if I couldn't play Mizuno wedges, I'd be playing Titleist.  And I'm a total Scotty Cameron homer, before next season begins I will be purchasing my third SC putter, either the Fastback 1 or Newport 2.6.

I vote for Mizuno Irons...

As said hundreds of times, they are butter.

Tempted to close the thread on that one alone.

Feel ain't real. I say that a lot, but in this case, you may as well ask people what clubs sound the best, because that's what "feel" really is.

Yep; precisely why Mizuno mess with the "harmonic resonance" of some of their clubs.

So does virtually every clubmaker.

If you blind folded yourself and hit a bunch of different clubs you would easily be able to tell a difference between them not just based off of the sound. Yes, I know it would be difficult to hit while blind-folded, but you catch my drift. Different clubs have different feel.

They have different feel mostly because of how your brain interprets the sound, rather than what your hands perceive.

Ahh, I didn't think of that. Good point, still it is still fun to distinguish different things about different clubs.

You didn't think of it? That was the topic of my last two posts. :-P

Guess what else? If you put earplugs in, people can't tell the difference between a Rock Flite and a balata. "Feel" is something like 95% sound.

Mizuno.  Woods, hybrids and irons. Theres simply nothing else short of Miura, Yonex or one of the other high-end Japanese forgings that comes close.  Even Mizuno's cast irons feel better than some other companies' forged irons.

For putters I would have to say Ping.  IMO, the Anser always has been the best-feeling putter on the market.
