Anyone using one of these? They are on sale from gppgolf.com for $149.99 which seems like a really solid price.  I have hit one in the store before and liked it but was just wondering what people who actually play with it every round or have tried it think of it?  I read a few reviews that said it scratches up easy how is yours holding up?

i had one for a while. i liked it, but i got the RAZR hawk because i was getting more distance from it. the face scratched pretty easy, but it didnt affect the performance. for 150 bucks, id say go for it.

I got a 2.0 earlier in the year.  I love it.  This is the first I have heard of it scratcing easily.  Mine has been through 20+ rounds, no scratches on any part of it.  Not sure if people are using plasitc tees or what is going on.  Of course with the face being black and the rest of the head white, scratches would show up more easily.  But none of that on mine.  $150 is a great price.

Its either this or a 9/10 condition Ping G15.  Don't know what to do now!

I've got a SF 2.0 driver and 3W. Doesn't really scratch up. Same as any club really. Clean them often and you're good to go.

And love my driver. Packs a hell of a punch.

Mine has held up.  I've been leaving the cover off it as well and hear clunk and thump on a bump and nothing.  The only blemish it has is from a buddy loosening my bag as a prank in a scramble and it hit path when it was 2 weeks old.  It's minor and on the white, so it takes a good nick to scratch.  That is also the reason I leave it off...he felt guilty enough to never do it again.

I began gaming the 2.0 in Oct and even though its been cold out I have hit my longest drives of the year.  Still working on my swing but when I hit them on-center it adds 15-20 yards easy.

Never had a driver do that before.  Can't wait for the summer when it dries out and flies even farther.  I shortened mine an inch and only had a chance to play with it once like that.

This summer I tested out the Burner 2.0 and the RazRHawk drivers at my course's driving range. Both drivers - plus my own Callaway HyperX Tour - had 10.5* loft.

All three drivers had R-flex shafts. Hit a dozen balls per club.

Burner 2.0 felt good, but it took off like a 5 iron - more loft than I want in a driver. Has anybody else had trouble with too much "up" from a Burner 2.0?

I guess what I'm saying is try different lofts before you buy.

I went in for a club fitting for irons (my first) and it was a disaster.  Since I don't hit irons below an 8 consistently, it was impossible to distinguish the feel of the irons when they only have 6 and 7 irons for fittings.  When we finally decided to just adjust my length on my exisiting clubs and try again when I can hit a 6 iron, I decided to move on to hybrids and woods.  I tried the superfast 2.0s and started blasting everthing perfectly straight and about 10-20 yards longer than I was hitting my existing clubs.  I bought the driver, 3 wood and the 3 and 4 hybrids on the spot.  I've never been a big believer that equipment makes that much of a difference, but these clubs rock.  I've played with them 2 rounds now and both came in mid 80s, this was a first for me.  They are really easy to hit and the contact feels really smooth. The 3 wood and the hybrids also seem to draw a little where my tendancy before was to fade thse clubs.   I have a lot more confidence standing over the ball with these clubs now and that makes all the difference. I have the 10.5 degree driver and the only complaint I have is that it launches a little high for my taste, but the high launch is probably one of the reason that what used to be a slice is now a gentle fade for me.

I was playing a starter set of Maxfli clubs, so take this with a grain of salt, it could be that simply investing in any good clubs would have done the same thing, but if you are going from the beginner to intermediate levels, these clubs seem like a wise choice and a good value.

Now if I can figure out how to hit a 5-7 irons consistently I can get fitted properly and get new irons as well. Until then, if i'm 150+ out i'll just this one of these and adjust my speed.
