New golf animated series : Golfers Anonymous

Hi,

For your information there is a new animated series that is making its debut at Golf Channel.

It is called "Golfers Anonymous".

My friend worked on it and showed me some preview and it is really promising. Very humoristic.

From Golf Channel website :

Golfers Anonymous (Premiere, Animated Series)
Airtime: Friday, 8-8:15 p.m.

Golfers Anonymous is an animated series featuring a foursome of misfits who will do whatever it takes to play the game they love. The premiere will feature David Feherty as an on-course commentator, making observations from outside the ropes.

There's nothing about this on Golf Channel's site that I could find. Not showing up in my local listings either.

Golf Channel decided not to air it on TV, for now.  The pilot is available here : http://www.golfchannel.com/media/golfers-anonymous-pilot-episode-121511/

Image quality on this website is pretty bad for what it could have been on HDTV.

For the sake of you and your friend I watched the whole thing even though ordinarily I would've stopped a few minutes in when it became apparent there is nothing entertaining going on.

The animation itself was great, can't say I cared much for the story. The whole thing kid of reminded me of the ill-fated Sports Guy cartoon.
