Yes, the only shoes that have a more narrow toe are the Classix or the Gent Classix, forget the exact name of the shoe.

Glad they went back to the wider toe box.   Thanks for the info!!

2013 Tours came in the mail today. Awesome fit right out of box and wore them to PGATSS to hit some in the practice bays. In limited use very comfy. Insane difference between the 2014 dry lytes and these. Lytes don't look like they will ever see the light of day. If only I didn't wear them for 1 round I could have ebayed them. Oh well on to the tours. Oh ya 13's are a half size larger than 14's.

After falling in love with the Tours I bought a pair of Senseis which should be coming soon. I recently tried on a pair of the Vegas. Is it just me or are those the smallest running of the True line? Sadly I passed on them. The price is as $39.99 at PGATSs but they were very stiff and felt constricting. Guessing the price drop is for the 15's coming next month.

So I have made True Linkswear my exclusive shoe apparently. I now own 4 in total. I think the 14 line was the weakest and look forward to the 15 line. That being said I find the Senseis which I now have a 2nd pair coming are the most comfortable and have replaced my regular trainers. The Senseis do run a bit on the big size so I went a half size smaller for the 2nd pair. Anyway to those who are true fans my question is why wouldn't True continue or bring back certain styles while still offering a new line. It just seems a bit odd that the new line will not have any of the previous models still available or recreated.

I've heard that from a few people but I actually really liked a lot their '14 line with the Oxfords and Gents.

It was mainly the fit that bothered me with the 14 line. The Vegas I found ran so small and were very stiff and I did not like the toe box at all. I never tried the Gents on bit did try the oxfords and own a pair of the lyt Drys. The oxfords fit ok I just had no need for another non water proof shoe. Sad about the dry lytes wore them for 1 round and haven't tried to even go to range With them because of the high backs

The styles were nice. The sizing (specifically the opening where you put your foot in, and the width/room in the toe box) were the problem…

Quote:
THE PROBLEM WITH CUSHIONING

The designers were careful to change very little about the external appearance... but the newly-cushioned sole is a soul CRUSHER in our strength-training world.

Why?  Because it disperses and displaces energy. The connection between yourself and the groundmust be solid — no gaps, no squishy room, no "other" place for the force to go but to exactly where you "tell" it to (the implement). How much more difficult would it be to press a bar or bell overhead if you first have to compress all the foam beneath your feet before anything else happens?

Plus, it's safer, allowing for greater proprioception. Our feet were designed to give us feedback about the environment, not be blinded from it. Arches and the common fallacy of arch support are yet another component to this — but that's a discussion for another time.

If only Converse would make CT golf shoe. I have been wearing Vans to golf if conditions are dry so CT's would probably be fine for me.
