i don't understand the FedExCup

I like what Otis said above about a bracket match play competition.  They need to expand it to the 4 major winners, and then the next best 28 people using some sort of ranking/point system. Make the winnings enough to entice everyone to come and play.  Make it as mandatory as you can.  I'd watch something like that.

Not sure anyone who's not an active member of the PGA Tour should ever be in the mix. The Fed Ex gets players to play in fall events. Thats the purpose and it works. It's like a playoffs but as long as players pick and choose their event schedules, a points system is the best you can expect. the last couple were compelling and considering it's (the PGA Tour) fighting for relevance in the fall against baseball's stretch drive, football training camps, hockey training camps etc, why expect it to be more than it currently is, which is interesting and watchable.
