hey guys. today i had golf practice with my team, and i can honestly say i shot the best in my life. i play the front nine usually and it is a par 36. (front) to day i shot a 38 when i usually shoot in the mid 40's. i got some new clubs and this was my first time using them. my drives were excellent and my putting and chipping were better than usual. over all i am really happy and hope i can keep this up

If you did it once, you can do it again.  The first time is the hardest.

Congrats! Always nice to get a new personal best, the tough part is repeating it consistently. . .something I am struggling with currently.

That's great!  I agree with the comment above that once you do it once, you can do it again.  Sounds like you took a great approach to it.

I know the feeling.  It is just the work you are putting in coming to fruition. Congrats.  Once you do it it just happens again, and again.  But don't get discouraged if you cannot do it consistently.  Just keep working.

Disagree, I think.

While I will agree that the benefit is maybe over rated, especially when you hear all the talk about a positive mind set BLAH BLAH BLAH, I know that my brain can have a hugely detrimental effect on my game. If I golf with my brain I'm in huge trouble, if I can turn it off while swinging the results speak for themselves. Longer with less effort.

Yours in earnest, Jason.
