Just bought a odyssey #9 to match my regular putter for $79 on ebay.  Been looking around and that now seems very low.  I compared to my other #9 and they match in every way.

Are there good fakes of these?  Or has the price dropped that dramatically?  It's brand new with plastic on the grip and a headcover.

That is a normal price at the moment on ebay. Slightly better, in fact.

You have nothing to worry about.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

Thanks.  I thought I was buying slightly used and surprised when it was virgin.

Are these overstock?

I think you'll find that when clubs are no longer current they wholesale their inventory and that's why there are great bargains to be had. They need to empty their warehouses for newer models and there are thousands of unsold older models they shift for a fraction of their original price.

Someone might buy 200 putters with a RRP of $149 for $20 each and then sell 50 of those to an ebay seller for 30 each. They still make money, don't worry!

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
