I have an RBZ 3wood and RBZ hybrids...luv 'em! Do you think Taylormade will eventually come out with an RBZ driver with the same type of "velocity slot" as the other RBZ woods have?

I don't think so. The slot raises the "trampoline effect" in the clubs. Drivers are already at or close to the usga limit it would be hard to add the same design to a driver while still falling under usga guidelines.

I agree most drivers have reached the max of the usga limits so in theory if they could add the slot and keep it within the limits it's possible. However I don't think they will manage it because of the trampoline effect but who knows anymore.

Yeah, let me rephrase my last post.  There is no point to add it to the next rbz driver but knowing the marketing team at TM they will add the slot claiming it at the USGA Max and the longest club ever. Their sister company Adams will not add it to there drivers as they are not as marketing driven.
