I'm so stumped on making a choice of rain gear. Footjoy, Zero Restriction, Callaway. Too many choices. Any suggestions? I don't want to spend too much money- that cancels ZR out pretty much.

I went with Footjoy. I'm a "brand-a-holic" in some regards, but FootJoy has never let me down, and I don't expect they ever will. I spent about $250 on rain pants and a top (sleeveless).

With rain gear you definately get what you pay for and what you're really paying for is how well it breathes and keeps your body temp regular.

I live in an area that doesn't get much rain so I bought cheaper rain pants but did splurge on a Mizuno rain jacket because the sleeves zipoff and makes a great windshirt when I want one. The Mizuno is great quality and costs 1/2 of what the Footjoy Zip one costs.

i'm shopping around for the ZR rain top with zips all over the sleeves (vest, short sleeve and long). I've got foot-joy pants I like though.

I have a ZR jacket and bucket hat which I love, but I lost the pants a while back and need to replace them. I'll likely go the Foot-Joy route for the pants and pick up a Foot-Joy short sleeve top.
