Yes Dave, I'm looking into various clubs in my area (Tampa). I see I'm right down the road from you. I guess I am looking to go to a private club just because at least I'll be on the course with golfers. The wife also wants a fitness center because for what we spend at LA fitness we might as well join a golf club also. Actually the ones I have looked into are very reasonable on food and beverage prices. It actually sounds like it will save me some money.

My bag:

Taylor Made R7 (x-stiff).
Taylor Made Burner 2 irons (stiff)
Cleveland Wedges (gap and 60)
Odyssey two ball putter (white)

    • Day 17 (25 Mar 26) - Added better ball chipping drill (with grandson) in backyard today to takeaway / shoulder turn drill I’ve been working.  Good session with the added challenge to make a good shot on proximity to target.
    • Day 220 3-25 Seperation in backswing with correct hip turn and turning chest more. Going slow. Worked separately on wrist arching in down swing. Hit a few foam ball.
    • I'm wondering if there's a reason your priority isn't working on your pretty intense version of starting the downswing by thrusting your right hip towards the ball and rotating your shoulders, forcing you to pull way across the ball?
    • This is very much what I was thinking when I first read it through, but then he mentioned that he feels like he hits the hybrid and 7W solidly, but not the 3W. Last time I got fit, the fitter explained to me that the main thing with the shaft is to get you into a shaft that you can return the club to the ball accurately with. That makes me wonder if it really is a shaft issue and not just insufficient loft (it could be both too). @rod7515 - I would say look at what shaft you have in your 7W and try to match that in your 3W. It might want to be a little bit lighter and a little longer than the 7W shaft. When I say match, I mean brand, model, flex, etc. All of it except maybe a half inch longer and 10 grams lighter.
