I am probably in the line for some new everything haha.  5 plus year old driver, 15+ year old irons, 75+ year old putter (yes you read that right my putter is that old).  But I just can't think of getting rid of the clubs I have right now.  Do you guys have any clubs that are staying with you forever?  I will eventually get new clubs, but I think I am going to wait till I have money for a custom fitting.  Right now playing with a putter that is 55 years older than I am will do.

I have a 59 degree Solus wedge I'll never get rid of.  It's my go-to club for literally everything 90 yards and in (used to hit it farther, but for some reason I cant now).  I dont know if it's just that I'm very familiar with it, or if it's a great club?  Either way I dont really care haha.

As of now, the only truly "safe" club in the bag is my Scotty Fastback with the jumbo grip on it. Not for consistency reasons, it's about the only putter I can stand looking at these days.

56* dunlop "flag attack" wedge. Had it for such a long time.. was my first independent purchase and i love it. Don't see it leaving my bag anytime soon. Still reliable as heck.

I actually have a 20 degree Zebra 5 wood that I hit better than any club I have ever used/owned.  The thing seemingly weighs as much as 2 of my MP-32 blades lol - feels like a brick.

It got so haggard that I had to sand it down to the bone and re-paint it.  I used it as a driver up until 3 seasons ago...People would bust my chops when they would see me using it as a driver, but I can hit it 230-240 from a tee/driver stance (I hit it 200-220 off the fairway in the middle of my stance).

Won't take it out of my golf bag because I am so confident with it...even though it is super out-dated/ugly.

Really like my Ping G10 hybrids. I'm thinking I'm going to get a 23 or 24* hybrid to replace my 4 iron and when I do I'll probably just get a 20 or 21* to match

 913 D2 8.5* with V2 66g stiff shaft

910F 14.25 with Diamana stiff shaft

 i20 17, 20, and 23 hybrid

 AP2 712 5-PW with Dynamic Gold S300 shaft

 54 and 60

 D66

 Tournament Edition 1600

Im getting the feeling your talking about older clubs, but....... My new Burner 2.0 15° fairway 3 wood, it's starting to feel like I would never replace it. I already have plans to replace all the clubs in my bag with better ones, but the 3 wood will be around for awhile, probably till it breaks.

I wonder how long the New 2010 and newer clubs will last. Will I be able to keep my 3 wood for 20 years or will club head break down eventually. I figure most irons will last along time, but what about the newer drivers and fairway woods?

Sincerely, Jim

I have a 31* snakeeyes hybrid club that I will always keep in my bag. Ive had it in the bag for like 13 years now. I'm spot on with it from any shot from 150-165. I can draw/fade it and know where it will land within 10ft. It will be a sad day if that club ever breaks.

I'm a club wh0re, always having to repress the urge to get something new, but I have a 20 yr old Big Bertha Warbird 3-wood and a 15 yr old Ping Anser 4 putter that for some reason I don't feel the need to replace. The Warbird makes a beautiful 'ting!' on contact, not like the 'crack!' that modern metal woods make.

A Wilson True Temper 3 iron, yes it's a blade iron from the 70's. I can hit it straight, fade, draw, and prefer it off the fairway more than a hybrid.

I've had my Titleist DCI Oversize irons since 1998 that I purchased with $$ saved from caddying from the previous summer. 15 year later I've had them re-gripped multiple times and just can't seem to get away from them!

In the bag:

TaylorMade R11 Driver (10.5 stiff stock shaft)

TaylorMade R11 3wood (15 degree stiff stock shaft)

Adams IdeaPro 3i hybrid (20 degree)

Titleist DCI 4-PW (photo)

Cleveland CG15 wedges (52, 56, 60)

Odyssey White-Hot 2-Ball (Superstroke oversize grip)

Bushnell Tour V2 Rangefinder

In the past I got a Bettinardi and then a White Hot, handing down the Anser to my wife and then son, but each time after playing a few rounds with them I took the Anser back and gave them the new sticks. It just feels so right when I hold it.

I still owe you a drink dude...

Over the past ten years, I've changed my driver a couple of times and my wedges once, but I don't see my Adams A2OS 3+4 hybrids ever leaving my bag. So easy to hit well.
