Weird but i can go to golf sith hit for an hour on onitor with irons tee them up off the mat do just great. Go out side and nada no distance high fades no consistancy 3 weeks ago i was hitting the best golf shots in my life long straight on target then like bam ne day it all fell apart Overnight. Now i will admit ihave been going back and forth with various clubs old pings a mizuno blade clones ive noticed my swing speed on the monitors is average 68 which is a bit slower than im used to 78-82 i have had some pain in my elbow and wrist. Wondering if i have overload. The wrong clubs. Wrong technique i have had a few lessons after first lesson i was just doing great started alling apart after 3 weeks been struggling now with loss of distance. And high balls taking off straight then drifting to the right. Any comments advice etc welcomed

So are you from a galaxy far, far away, and long time ago? I never knew the sith had personal golf facilities. I guess George Lucas must have skipped over that part in movies.

The Sith are quite crafy players. Not known for their long drives, but certainly great around the greens. And if you try to cheat, they'll go all Darth Vader on one of your hands.

The key is you are teeing them up at golfsmith. Try hitting off the mats, and focus on hitting the mats about 2" in front of the ball. I just got over this problem not too long ago, in generation 6 of my swing evolution. The other thing is to place the ball one club width from your lead foot, for all clubs. Start with this and you will hit them better. Your shots will go high, but at least you will hit them. Then move the ball back as you get more confident. Keep your hands ahead of the ball at impact. Everyone tells me this. One of the better players also told me that the feeling you get is to have your right (for a lefty) wrist feel firm through impact. Stack and tilt evangelism would be the next thing, but I am sure you will get lots of better and more specific advice than mine.

more than likely flipping and when your timing is good you hit it ok.  Plus hitting off mat and tee you can get away with it

    • I agree with @dennyjones, a suspension of some meaningful duration would be better than getting bounced from the Tour. They might consider experimenting each week. It might generate a bit of interest. I like the idea of a visible shot clock. If a player and their caddy can’t decide on a strategy and pull the trigger in XX seconds (30? 45? 60?), one stroke penalty. Give each player 2 resets a round. The clock starts when the last player to hit’s ball stops moving. Other pace ideas could be used every couple events until a consensus is reached to adopt or ditch an idea.
