Wow. So I do have something in common with a tour pro.

JD aside, this is turning into a real shootout...rookie Blixt, the 2n round leader was +1 thru 10 before 5 birdies in a row to get a shot back of Ryan Moore (-6 today with no bogies) and De Jong (who has birdied his last 4)

Went to see my first Golf event ever on the final day of the tourney ,and it was so awesome ! Got there in time to watch local favorite Ryan Moore at the range then John Daly showed up smoking a cigarette while hitting balls the entire time. haha that was epic.

Being my first time I really didn't know what to expect but it was so cool, granted this wasn't a filed of big name superstars so the crowds didn't seem too big, it never really felt too crowded. The weather was perfect and being a local I got to check out a course I'll probably never afford to play, The houses on that course are insane, you have to be there to truly get how big they are. Billionaire Sheldon Adelson is building a gigantic property on the course.

We started our day following Moore from the first hole, Our strategy was to ditch the tee shots on the par 4's and 5's and stay along the fairway to see the ball land, then watch the second shot and hurry to the greens. par 3's are great watching from the greens. That group never reached the green from the tee's on the par 4 #15 that would've been cool.

I'm so hooked can't wait for the Micheal Jordan tournament @ Shadow Creek. Is there Any other golf events in Las Vegas I should know about or than the M.J tournament ? I'd like to go see some more.

Ryan Moore won with six different club manufactures in his bag.  I'm sure Adams is thrilled lol

Glad you had a great time at your first event yesterday Lesterday. IMO there is no other sport with a comparable experience as a spectator, much as I've enjoyed attending many other sport events. The proximity, the variety of situations involved (if you don't just camp out somewhere as I sometimes do for part of the day), chatting with other spectators, overhearing a pro chatting with someone on the range or practice putting green ....
