I don't buy on eBay but hang around the thrift shops and find some good bargains.  I esp like the shops in the retirement communities since lots of the old guys 'pass on' and them all those clubs move to the thrift shops.  Anyway, i always inspect the grip and if no good i, almost always, reject the club since to replace the grip will cost me more money and time. True, infrequently,  i find an exceptional or rare club which i may buy even if a poor grip, but it's gotta b great.

In this case, looks like they've posted pics of the actual clubs and have given a decent description of the item's condition, so that should be enough info to decide. Larger retailers normally describe their rating systems pretty well, so check that out when you're thinking of buying. If the feedback tells you people generally think they describe their items properly, then chances are you'll get an item that matches your expectations. This seller doesn't have a lot of feedback, but for $62 not sure you can go wrong. Good luck!

When buying on Ebay, you always want to see actual pics.  If theyre stock photos and the price seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Whats in my :sunmountain: C-130 cart bag?

Exactly, actual pics not stock or generic pictures.  The only possible exception to that  rule is if you buy from a manufacturer's ebay store, like Callaway preowned. You can take advantage of their warranty if you don't like the condition of the club. So far it has worked for me, I have bought four off ebay and the three I have received have been very good bargains. I have also purchased hard to find hats and gloves.

In my  bag:

Driver, Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 9.5 stiff

3, 5 woods: Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 15,18 degrees Stiff

2 hybrid: Callaway Diable Edge Tour 18 degrees R (out when the 5 wood is in)

3,6 hybrids: Callaway Diablo Edge 21 S and 30 degrees R

4,5 hybrids: Callaway Razr X HL 24 and 27 degrees Stiff

7-AW irons: Callaway Razr HL graphite R shafts

SW 54 Callaway X Series Jaws CC Slate Fujikura Graphite Stiff

Putter: Odessey White Ice 1 Blade Putter.

Ball...looking for any ball that hates water, sand, long grass, and getting lost in the woods.

I can't find any, so forced to use ones that seem to love all the above.

    • My first instinct is don't put grooves in a roll face putter. But, it's your putter so... I think we'd all be in a better position to advise you if you posted some photos.  Let us know what you decide and how it comes out.

    • I play in a family event a few times a year with many 20-30HC players recently I was beaten off the stick by my 23HC cousin hubby he got an 83 I had a shocker 87 ...to have beaten him I would have had to have scored a 66 off the stick !!! my lowest at our local course is 73  ...was his best game for the year ...so many lucky shots    IMHO I'd say your mate won't need more than a couple of years to beat you ..
