Im not exactly sure if this is what "cross handed" means but I have recently changed my putting grip. I put my left hand on bottom ( righty) and my right hand on top and intertwine my right forefinger between my left pinky and ring finger. I seem to have WAY more control of not only accuracy but speed. I get the feeling of "rolling" the ball into the hole instead of "tapping" it. Also when I start my putting stroke i can keep the club from swaying out of my target line and keep the "Y" position alot easier. Anyone else have suggestions or similar experiences with this putting grip or something similar?

Thanks for clarifying that. I was pretty sure thats what the technical term was but didnt want to sound like an idiot.

dude, i tried this grip this morning after seeing it on some annoying michael breed bit...just like you said, more control, more feel, etc.  i'm an atrocious putter, and i two putted everything except a couple very slick downhillers from 30', and holed two 20 footers. The biggest change for me was speed control, as i usually have no trouble blowing my first putt 10' past the hole or leaving it 5' short.   i am definitely going to stick to cross-handed putting.

i know exactly what you mean. i used to (and still do) struggle with putting but this gave me a little more confidence. especially like you said " hitting a pretty good distance beyond the hole". the way i see it... if im going to two putt, the second putt should be a tap in and this grip helps me ALOT more with that. glad you feel the same
