Right now I'm making pretty consistent swings and making solid contact but right now my misses are either a pull draw or a high push fade, especially with a Driver. I cannot for the life of me figure out what is causing this. My alignment is centered or slightly closed. I can work the ball pretty well with all clubs except my driver. I either hit it fairly straight or that high fade. I cannot draw the ball with a driver at all and its frustrating. Why can I draw all other clubs but no Driver. Also i feel like sometimes after impact i release the club to the left (or inside) of the target line, rather than straight through down the line. Whats a good drill to correct this?

Sounds like you have inconsistency with the clubface angle at impact. Assuming your swing path is as consistent as you say, your misses are simply: closed face=pull draw, open face=push fade. Hard to tell what your path is, but I doubt it deviates more than a few degrees either way.

As for your driver, if you hit the ball with a descending blow, your path will be more inside out. The opposite is also true. You seem to hit the driver on the upswing, which will make your path more out to in. The only way to hit a draw from that position is to hit a pull draw. If you want to hit a straight or push draw, you have to hit the ball earlier on your swing arc. Either push your weight forward more or tee the ball slightly back.

As for the release, I'm not quite sure how to answer that. What do you mean by release? Do you feel like you throw the club or turn your wrists or flip? I actually have an early extension problem, so one of the things I work on is feeling like I'm swinging to the left.

If you're a 2.8, you must be doing something right.  Reading your post I felt like "this guy has the same problem as me" . .except I shot a 105 today so our problems are probably different.  Strangely, perhaps-  but I can also draw (or at least hook) all my clubs except the driver.  Nothing I do will make the driver flight from right to left.  If I *try* to snap hook it - I might hit a worm-burner - but if not then it will still slice.  The best I can do is a straight pull.

FWIW - if you do have the same issue as me - it's mostly all clubface.  The only exception is when I pull it - then I swing over the top.  The rest of the time it's me having my clubface ~10 degrees shut or open at impact.  I can control my swing path within a few degrees - but I struggle mightily with the clubface.

But you can't really be doing the same crap as me and be a 3 handicap - can you?

Hi, check out where your behind is!. As the driver is a longer club and demands a wider stance with more of a spine tilt away from the ball it can lead to our behind being out of alignment. Set up get ready to swing your driver and freeze!!!!!   take the driver and place it across your hips and THEN look down without moving your lower half. if your hip alignment is open, your shoulders are likely to follow as you downswing causing a high slice  or a lower pull hook. Obviously its hard to tell like this but i think you give a good clue in that most other clubs allow you to draw leading me to believe that the issue is in your set up. So a little bump towards the target with your hips and pulling that right hip level really should help. Keep the rest the same though, small disciplined movements buddy. Hope that helps.

    • I agree with @dennyjones, a suspension of some meaningful duration would be better than getting bounced from the Tour. They might consider experimenting each week. It might generate a bit of interest. I like the idea of a visible shot clock. If a player and their caddy can’t decide on a strategy and pull the trigger in XX seconds (30? 45? 60?), one stroke penalty. Give each player 2 resets a round. The clock starts when the last player to hit’s ball stops moving. Other pace ideas could be used every couple events until a consensus is reached to adopt or ditch an idea.
