Hi Everyone,

I wanted to welcome TonyBenach from GOLFLEXX .

GOLFLEXX is a golf stretching and fitness training aid.  According to Golflexx the training aid can:

Good to have you hear Tony. I have to say after reading about your product here at TST I didnt even bother trying to review it. I purchased one from one of my favorite online golf retailers. (Not sure if I should post the name as it's not a sponsor) But it should arrive tomorrow and Im looking forward to trying it out.

Hey Ron.....awesome! We have quite a few on-line affiliates representing Golflexx. It's a great tool, simple to use and should be used throughout the year to keep those "pesky" muscles limber. It's amazing how stiff we get as we creep up in age but that doesn't mean you have to wait until your a senior to stretch. We've got thousands in use by PGA and LPGA members, golf instructors and golfers like you and I.....the ones who just love to play. In fact, we have a nice following of folks who don't golf at all but use Golflexx to stay flexible. Please let me know directly if you have any questions with our product. I'm happy to help anytime!

I"ve used the Golflexx for four days now - like it and easy to use.

Got mine and so far worth every penny. I think this thing works as advertised. The only complaint, and it's a small complaint probably user error, but my thumbs get sore using it. That may go away over time.

I mention that on my review the thumbs do notice the work out. But maybe stronger thumbs is a side benefit

I have one and liking it so far. Mine is a medium and I have to resist the urge to overbend it but I think that is a good thing. It makes me relax and stretch, two things I need.

Thumb strengthening while using Golflexx creates faster texting! (kidding).

Our specific grip instruction and thumb / finger placement is meant to keep users from over-flexing their Golflexx. During the R&D; process we handed Golflexx units out to between 15 and 20 PGA professionals at a local tournament here in Oregon, the Jeld Wen Tournament, where Golflexx sponsored a booth. During that time we took advice from many pro's who tried Golflexx out on the range. It was an awesome day as we watched some very big names using our product. It was suggested that thumb placement should be specifically put on the grip as such allowing the user to get maximum benefit from the pre-loading process. Our spokes person Dr. Donald Fox agreed.

You can, however, hold the ends with your thumbs wrapped around the grips once you get used to your flex limit. There are several recommended exercises that require your thumbs to be on the grips as per the instructional DVD but adjust them according to your comfort level, just don't flex more then the apprx. 6 degree limit. Keep in mind pre-loading your unit is meant for stretching and not so much for strength training although you will get some benefit to strengthening the muscles used.

    • I think 95% is more accurate. The leader of our course rating program shot from the hip and said 90%, but I recently read elsewhere that it is more like 95%. So we spend 4 hours or more on a course with a team of 6 to 8 people to figure out the last few rating strokes as to whether they exist or not due to difficulty. I credit this site/forum for getting my interest up in volunteering for my state association. I am marshalling for the US Mid Am qualifier later this morning 15 min from my home. We get shirts, hats, 1/4 zips, a cart with our name on it, a radio, lunch and unlimited snacks all while watching some great golfers. πŸ™‚

    • Day 2: August 12.  I did 25 balls of the ruler drill from LSW for putting.  24 of the 25 stayed on the ruler through 36" but some were smoother than others.  I suspect if the ruler (and goal) had been 48" far fewer would have stayed on.  I'm trying to go by sound, and not look, since when I attempt short putts, I don't want to look (although now I wonder if that's conventional wisdom that turns out to be wrong).
