i got this thing today and it is a 2011 model so lacks the additional cart strap that the newer models have.  however it is still supposed to be cart friendly because of the sturdy base.  before this i had a callaway that was not cart friendly and would tip over many times in a round...at least maybe turn sideways and lean to a 60 degree angle or something.

at any rate i was expecting the SM to be better but it in fact does the same thing.  the bags shift to the side and begin falling at an angle.  i found myself adjusting it every other hole.  anyone else have this problem?  i don't know if you can return bags, but i'm thinking either to do that or possibly sew in my own additional cart strap.

A fried of mine has the old version and it doesn't really fit right.  I have what is probably the 2012 version and i have no problem at all.

it all comes down to that extra loop for the cart.  do you have that?  if you have that, shouldn't be a problem.  if you don't have that, i'm not sure how yours is working and mine isn't.

I have the 2011 version and don't have any issues at all...maybe strap it in tighter?

I don't know what you mean by extra loop.  I thought the difference was that the bottom is shaped to better fit with the shape of the back of the cart, and the velcro strap that holds the legs in so that they do not kick out.

The newer models have a slot underneath where the pockets on the side are to thread the cart strap though instead of just putting the cart strap around your bag.

ha!  I had no idea.  I just put the strap around and haven't had any problems.  I'll have to try the slot next time.  Looking at pictures I think I see where it is, but I hang stuff on that loop (towel, brush, etc) that cover up the slot so I never really noticed it.

To the OP... if you ride a lot more than you carry you may want to check out the Sun Mountain Hybrid bag (if you are going to return the Four 5). It's a little bit bigger than the Four 5. They way I look at it is both bags are a cross between carry and cart bags but the Four 5 leans more towards a carry and the Hybrid more towards a cart.
