I'm thinking about buying a used driver.  Taylor made 2.0 senior shaft is described as 10.5 degree loft. The staft is a graphite Matrix Ozik  Xcon 4.8 Flex M. I had the shaft tested and it is Senior Flex.

Another type driver has a shaft described as " Aldila RIP'D , Graphite Senior.

My question is:  which shaft would be better?  Don't know what my clubhead speed is.  Shaft lengths are 45".  Thank you.

Any chance you can hit these two drivers before you buy them, maybe get some launch monitor data?

As for shaft specs:

Aldila RIP.D NV =   Light flex... 55 grams....   MidTorque.... Low Kickpoint

This shaft stock for Callaway Razr Fit woods (2012)

Matrix Ozik 4.8 = M flex (senior) Closest I could find was 5.0 version on RBZ:

M.Flex .... 45 grams.... 4.5 Torque (above average).... Low-Mid kickpoint

TaylorMade doesn't do a very good job of archiving clubs/shafts which are no longer production models.

Basically, the RIP.D would be heavier, have average torque, and a fairly high launch

Ozik 4.8 would be a mid-high launch.

Focus, connect and follow through!

FWIW, I have the RIP NV stiff low kick point in my driver, and I can tell you this, it feels really whippy even for my swing. I have no idea what my swing speed is, but I know my carry isn't much over 240 if that. I think I would look at the Matrix,.
