I know I posted about looking for the nike forged blades in a 2 Iron, but I have been testing out blades (I know blades are bad unless you have less than a 10 handicap.) and I ball striking is not my problem. 4+ putting is, I have a cruddy putter (I know the charcoal mist is in the sig, its in my closet, picked up as an early birthday present waiting to be sent out for a custom grip/headcover/initials/paintfill) anyways I hit the following Titleist 695MB, mp-67's, and the nike's. All the clubs felt amazing at impact, amazing, much better than the numb strike of the x-20's (which have been amazing clubs also, just not as much feedback). Anyways after deciding I liked the mp-67's best (sorry nike/titleist fans) I asked to try a 2 iron. They didnt have them, nike nope, titleist nope. All 3 companies make them. I like the feel of the 2 iron, I dont like the hybrid. Long Irons saved me many a time. WHY CAN'T golfsmith CARRY MORE LONG IRONS

The same question I always ask, too. I have been looking all over for a 1 and 2 iron for my set - no dice. When I get them, the 3 and 5 wood are going bye-bye (I am better with irons than fairway woods off the grass any day of the week).

Have either of you tried hybrids? If not give them a try you wont be disappointed.

I think you should address that question to Golfsmith - - - I think there is a good chance they'll answer if you ask.

Did so. Very disappointed.

I'd love to have a 2 iron, but the same thing with me, I just can't find them. Forget about a 1 iron too, you'd have to go get those custom made.

same here, not a fan of the hybrids, had so much problem of getting solid contact in the grass, especially on a downslope and also had a problem of getting too much loft on shots and having problems in the wind. For some reason theres nothing greater than hitting a low long iron into the wind on a short par 4, while your playing partners watch they're drives drift off into the rough. Also the feel of a pured iron does a lot for me than a metal wood.
