Curious how many of you are Professionals? Top ranking AM's with 3 handicaps? Just getting a sense to those who have chance to help most of us.

Most of the members post their handicap index as part of their profile. You'll find that there's an enormous knowledge base here, and it's not necessarily limited to the better players. Don't discount the experience and expertise that some have yo offer on a wide range of golf related topics, just because they may carry a higher handicap....

I am a rank amateur who has only been playing 6 months.  I have wild strategies and constantly change clubs and shafts. I chip with a 4-iron and hockey style putt under 25 ft.  My last 27 holes have been 47,43 and 46 with only 2 birdies. The sound advice I can give is limited to dont overswing.

There is tons of good information already posted on here. I strongly suggest digging around in some old threads and you will quickly learn tons of good information and who can help you the most. After you have wondered around post some questions and become part of the discussion and then you can post your swing for some more help.

Reinstated am with a single digit index (for now...but not if I don't turn this around), but I wouldn't consider myself a "Top ranking AM's with 3 handicap".
