shaft + loft driver combo question

im going to get fitted for the i20 by ping - currently playing i15 with stock shaft

question

i have an 8 degree i15 with the stock shaft and i still hit it very high but quite well, i feel as tho im losing distance and roll tho especially in summer conditions - my question is if i toy with lower launching shafts with higher degree face angles, can i still get good results or will my ball launch super high still? i will obviously check at my fitting but id like to have a little background knowledge before i go in there like what can i expect from certain combos you know?  thanks i know the question is a bit vague...

You shouldn't need to do both. If you you feel like your ball flight is too high just have the kick point changed to lower trajectory. This is, of course, assuming the i20 has the same ball flight as the i15 does.
