I'm going thru a period in which I'm hitting the ball thin. My body rotation feel good but my face remains open and it seems like my arms are not turning over the ball Perhaps it's a weak grip? What causes thin shots?

The low point of the clubhead is too far back or behind the golf ball, so after you get tired of hitting it fat, you pull the clubhead up to avoid the ground and thin it.

#1 cause of low point being too far back? Weight not properly forward at impact.

Just figured it out why I'm hitting thin I know it's different for different folks For me my balance was off cause my weight was too far into my heel of my foot so when I was coming to impact I felt I had to keep the clubhead open to stay balanced It was basically over adjusting for the shanks which was caused by too much weight on my toes

I would think it is getting "behind the ball" and trying to "lift it" off the ground.  Coming up out of your swing.  There, every golf saying in the book in one post!
