I am looking to chart my club's greens.  I am thinking of carrying a book like a yardage book but just of the greens.  I looked at the office store for some type of notepad but they are bulky and too many pages.  Anyone know of somewhere that makes or sells blank page type yardage books? Otherwise, I can make my own and just buy a cover.

Yeah, these guys ... http://www.yardage-marker.com/

I bought a handful of those a few years back thinking of doing the same thing for a few courses I play the most often.  Then with GPS and rangefinders, and the yardage books so many courses sell, it got to be unnecessary.  If you're going all out mapping the greens however, I can see you getting some benefit there though.

Good luck!

Stick this in your google search: "golf yardage books pga tour", and then click on images.  You can get a lot of ideas of how to do the greens from those photos I think.

This guy i got paired up with once. He printed out the greens of the course from google maps, and he just plots his putts as he plays the course. This way he develops a solid book over time.

Then… learn AimPoint. It'll show you a far more accurate way of "charting" your greens.

I came across this link on the AimPoint Forum about creating a Greens Book.

That's really cool Tristan.

Not really feasible or necessary for somebody (like myself) who doesn't really have a "home" course.  I started keeping track of my stats online in November of 2011 and since then I have played 52 rounds of golf on 22 different courses.  The most I've played on any one course is 9 rounds.

However, if I did belong to a CC where I played all of my rounds, I probably would go about putting together a tour-style yardage book complete with greens charted just like that.  Geeky and fun!  (Just like me :))
