"How to tell someone they are bad at golf .... "

That's the ranger's job. He will tell you you can't reach the green and to hit away. Then either

(a) he is wrong and you drop the ball amongst the people on the green or
(b) he is wrong and so you take a nighty swing to prove it, topping the ball 10 yards.

Wait a minute! Is a peach an endearing term for a lovely female butt, or is that also a South American fruit? Heck! I'll take it! I love em both! Thanks man!

I don't know if I agree with that, I think some people are delusional about just about anything!

That being said, why would you say anything?  Sounds like more work than just ignoring and letting it go.

In the US the best peaches are from Georgia. Fruitcakes are from the UK.

UK and US humor are very different. We might have offended each other.

Well I apologise for any offence I've caused, even to jetnickers, and can assure you I've not been offended in any way! Are you Americans familiar with the English term.. Banter?

Banter = Supple term used to describe chat that is playful, light teasing, intelligent and original. Banter is something you either posses or lack, there is no middle ground. It is also something inherently English, stemming as it does from traditional hi-jinks and tomfoolery. Actual definition^ People who banter are rarely offended! People who don't, often are! So apologies from me! Still gonna change my name to hardplums though! I kinda like it!

No offense taken at all, I rather enjoy going back and forth with those I disagree with. after all, it would be a boring forum if everybody agreed with each other. :-)

my get up and go musta got up and went..

I was caddying a Monday event once. One guy in the group literally only played this event every year.

I told him his swing looks like a good match for Cricket (jokingly of course. He made fun of himself the whole round and seemed like a good person).

Swing like bamboo in wind; ball still laughs.

Why didn't you just join him? That way you could have speeded him up. Just because his a bad golfer you wouldn't join him (quite sad) .. bad golfers playing with good golfers improves them and that start learning how to play the game the right way

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
