I've heard good things about the Driveway, but never actually seen one. I'll keep an eye out for your review. And yeah, the 3 Deep has a great look.

Nice I like that, it looks like you can get it in 11.5 and 13.  That would go with my 4w. I will probably write the review early next week on the Driveway.  Let us know if you get a 3 deep.

Lots of options for the OP if you want to dump the driver.

Since you are still relatively new to golf, take the driver out of the bag on the course, but keep practicing with it on the range.  Don't get frustrated though...the driver is usually the most difficult club to hit and will take some time to get used to.

Didn't Jack Nicklaus say that any time a golfer hit the fairway with their driver it was 90% luck?  or something to that effect...

Today I played with my driver just as an experiment.  I shot the highest score all summer long today.  Just going to need to practice and take some more lessons.  I can't get too mad at myself sometimes I have to remind myself that I just started playing and still have a lot of work to do regarding my game.

I recently experimented taking out driver & 3 wood to focus on improving my mid/long iron shots.   My score didn't suffer much.  Or, should I say that I didn't see much difference.   It also helped me tee off with hybrid with confidence on certain holes instead of going with driver.   Give it a try and see how it goes.

Great review, thanks. I just wish I could get my hand on one to demo before buying one.

I actually play at a shorter course for high school, and to me, staying is the fairway is more important than those extra 20 yards (Although I am usually pretty accurate with my driver). For me, I use a combination of driver and 3 wood off the tee, and it works great. I wouldn't give up on the driver entirely, I would experiment using both in a round and see how it works for you.

I play my 3 wood way mor off the tee then my driver. I hit my driver ok but if I'm struggling with it I will sacrifice distance for accuracy and pleasure lol. Try a stronger grip with your driver and try not to strangle the grip. Trust your hands the club will not fly out of your hands with a proper grip and pressure. I have found when I do t feel confident I try and strangle the club in turn causes me to not close the face and leave it open and also swing across the ball. Grip the club with the same pressure as holding a baby bird in your hands soft yet secure. If your tense in your swing is the Same a trying to run with straight legs. Good luck don't give up on the driver. Pull it if you feel good about it then don't think about it being your driver look at it as if your hitting your three wood.
