tnt and whatever is covering it today both suck. today it sounds like all the audio is played through a tunnel. espn and nbc both broadcast brilliant coverage. these other 2 lacky stations seem to not even be able to focus their cameras. im just mad, nevermind me.

It's on CBS here. Tape delay, but still on CBS. Complain to your local affiliate if you would rather see tape-delayed golf over whatever they're showing instead.

I had it on CBS here. On the regular station it seemed low quality. But they did an amazing job with the HD.

Is it just me, or is the NBC HD coverage a bit spotty during the golf tournaments? What I mean is, you'll go to a camera on one hole and the picture is very sharp, very clear. Then they go to a different camera, and it's crap. It's as if some of their cameras are more equipped for the HD than the others.

CBS HD is excellent though. No complaints there.

Sometimes the HD cameras are mounted and the walking cameras are standard def that just gets uprezzed to your HD broadcast. NBC did that all the time, IIRC.

But I didn't see that yesterday. CBS has a big commitment to HD and all the walking cameras seemed to be HD.

ESPN and NBC have better sports coverage than TNT.... but TNT has Charles Barkley during basketball season (the most entertaining commentator ever)... cause they have more experience in broadcasting and filming sports... tnt is known to play movies and shows rather than sports... but they've always played atlanta braves games... only cause its turner's team

I thought the coverage has seemed fine during the entire PGA for me...I just don't like some of the announcers on TNT, that's all.

      Day 283 - 2025-07-10 Got some work in while waiting for someone to show up for a GEARS lesson (they did not, and haven't reached out in 24 hours, so I'm getting a bit worried). Also recorded a video for @saevel25.

      I agree. Personally, I've been watching the LPGA for a couple decades. My wife and I attended the US Women's Open in Edina, MN way back in 2008.  Two comments:  1 - I also enjoy another women's sport; Softball. The College Softball World Series is a big event in our household. Interestingly, my niece plays softball and my nephew plays baseball. Often we go watch them both play the same weekend. Both games will have the same start time. I have to say I enjoy the softball more than the baseball. The women are on a 20 second pitch clock. Yeah, you read that right 20 seconds. Plus, the players stand in the dugout the entire game and sing and/or chant stuff the whole time. Tons of energy. The game moves along at a fast pace. We often watch my niece's entire game and then go over to watch my nephew and they are in the 3rd inning. The baseball seems to move at a crawl after coming over from the softball game.  2 - My daughter and I have taken to watching the youtube channel "The Golf Girl Games". Great content. Very entertaining. If you haven't watched them yet, I recommend them.

      It's not too far off, Scott. You can probably let the arms go up earlier in the backswing so the change of direction isn't quite so dramatic.

      I haven’t really filmed in a while. Starting to feel like my body is close to being at full strength again, but I am also 65! I played a few round and my distance is down as expected. Here are a 6 iron and driver swing. My grip is a bit weak in these so I’ve focused on that the last few days. I went over my Erie notes. I’m trying to swing down from the top and not out. I want my weight to start shifting forward at about P3. And I want to push my left hip back in the downswing, which I was not successful in these swings. Ball flight has been pushes or pull draws with the irons and fades with the driver. Looking at these swings I can see why. I just need to change the picture.
