Where I live it seems the prices are very high for a teacher to find a good place to make his home setup for teaching. Obviously if your a pga teacher and work at a club that's a benefit as your teaching time is free. But I would guess that makes it tough to be a full time teacher as you have responsibilities in the shop etc.. I know a local nicer range around here charges 1700$ a month as a rental fee for a teacher to park his easy up and do his thing. And I don't believe that includes balls. I don't see how any teacher could make much profit with fees that high. So I was just curious what are fees around your area.

High here in SoCal.  I knew a couple of guys that were renting out one side of a range for 56K a year and it was just raised to 90K.  Enough room for about 15-20 people to hit with a practice green and bunker.

This forum is mostly golfers, not golf instructors.
