I did not make the Top 16 :~(

However, I was selected as a runner up which apparently means I can come in as an extra for some episodes and I can be a leader of some 12 week program that may be featured on the show. No idea yet on any details. The tryouts were fun, I got to meet a lot of golfers...most were a lot better than I was. Oh well...they made a neat little magazine cover of me.

Well Damn.

Sounds like it was a fun process though.  Keep us up to date on the rest.

It was definitely a good time, they used my golf pong (beer pong with lob wedge and ball) idea in the tryouts.

They also had nights where everyone could meet up at a pub, discuss the show and mingle.

Also if they get enough likes/comments on this page...

Sorry you did not make it man! I  was in the mix for a minute but my life is just too dang busy to commit to something like this. It is a great concept and they are going to do some really cool stuff with it. I would hang around and make an effort to stay in touch with those guys, there will be more to come! Love the mag cover :-)

Yeah I hear ya! I have a couple vacations planned this summer and I wasn't sure how it was going to all play out. Now I can kind of relax and just play golf.

Still would have loved the coaching though!

I also live clear across town from where they were doing all the filing and events, makes it pretty tough.

Side note for us Minnesotans: I was at Mississippi Dunes last Friday and they hope to open in 2 weeks! Come on sunshine!!!

Haha yeah the travel must have been lame. I work and live not too far from the Academy so it was all good.

and YES, we need some warm weather soon....after St. Paddy's Day I hit major cabin fever...

      That is a bit hyperbolic, I think. Most despicable is a bit much.  Again, a bit over the top here.  Most athletes are probably closer to being normal human beings than degenerates and avaricious scum.  Just sounds like you want to generalize all athletes because it is easy to do so. Hey, generalizing a subset of a population is entirely a human thing to do.

      This is so awesome; my two biggest lifetime hero and the biggest superstars of the past 35 years in golf……both turned out to be the two of the most despicable human beings in professional sports… Between this and everyone whoring themselves out for Saudi Arabia… Used to love golf because I thought they were smarter, better people than the other sports. Turns out a huge percentage of them are total degenerates and avaricious scum like every other sport!

      This isn't going to show you lateral dispersion at all. It's basically just a radar (for speed) launch monitor. It doesn't measure spin or anything like that. Not even launch direction.
