Don't work legs the day before you play.

It has been 2 months since I started to workout.   After a workout, my body is sore the next day and it is hard to play through the soreness.   It may have impacted my swing but I can't be for sure.  These days, I don't work out the day before a round to be on a safe side.

I gained distance though.

Not "may", it does affect your swing. You might even make "unwanted compensations" due to the sore muscles. Make sure you watch your form carefully while you play sore. I state this from my own terrible experience. . .

I shot a 105 after working legs. Not fun. My glutes weren't firing, and I was swinging flatfooted.

Yeah, thanks.  It could explain my Saturday scores (after Friday workout) which were significantly worse than Sunday ones.
