Lost Ball has one pair of golf shoes.

Where have you been, master of the third person?

I was telling someone about this group. In explaining, I said one guy goes by the nickname "Lost Ball". I think that guy is still laughing.

There are 6 or 7 pairs I can wear.

I was raised by Depression era parents.
I don't ever throw anything away.
This place is a freaking mess.

I have one pair of Nike Air Tour TW 8.5 shoes. I tried on the Foot Joys, but didn't think they felt any better, and I liked the looks of these better.

Two - a pair of Adidas and a pair of Footjoys.

I know the Footjoys are supposed to be the better shoes but the Adidas fit me like a pair of old slippers - they're so comfortable. The sole design is pretty good too.

But I must get some new cleats - the ones on there are almost worn flat.

The only reason I am under 10 is I threw 3 pair I never wore out last month. My favorites are the Nike SP-8s in a wide model. I play 3 times a week and always walk and these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever known. I have 2 pair. All my others get in the rotation on rainy/muddy days

2 - I just bought a pair of the black NIKE Rejuvenate's.

Probably not as good as the FootJoy DryJoys, but I thought they were more comfortable and a better price. I prefer shoes that look/feel like sneakers and do not have a sadle. I also have my original 3 year old pair of FootJoy GreenJoy's which I am holding on to as a spare pair.

Have 4 pairs. Wear the Adidas power band shoe most times. Have worn Nike, Footjoy, Dunlop, and the powerband is the most comfortable by far. Have one season on them with alot of walking rounds and they are still in nice shape.

I choose 3.

- Adidas 360 LTDs - Black
- Adidas Powerband Sport - Black and Deep Red
- Footjoy Mens Classics Tour - Black/Black

I tend to wear the Powerbands the most often now. Absolutley love all 3 pairs though. Comfort and Looks, jeez, I sound like a salesman now.

I need to stop spending so much freaking money on golf. There needs to be and addiction hot-line for golfer spending.

I have 3 pair.

Footjoys--they look like walking shoes that grand-dad may wear walking the mall in the morning.

Nike--Had to buy them one day when I left my Footjoys at home!! I was already at the course by the time I realized. Round trip woulda been 90 minutes. They're not bad, but I won't walk in them anymore. When I ride, I wear them.

Adidas--Torsion Euro II. Wide, brown. Just did a "buy it now" on ebay this morning for these. I had foot surgery last year, and neither of the 2 above really make my feet happy. So, I hope they work out nicely. The Footjoys are pretty decent--as far as comfort--they're a little big though.

I have 4 pairs but only ever wear 2 of them...

2 pairs of Nike SP-8 TW Tour, a White pair and a Black pair.

Another pair of Nikes, but older SP line, don't remember the exact model.

Pair of Oakley, I don't remember the exact model.

The SP-8s are amazing, comfortable, water proof and light weight.

If you have never worn white golf shoes in the middle of the summer while playing golf, you are missing out. Your feet will love you for having white shoes on when it's that hot and sunny out.

A few Eccos, a couple of Footjoy Classics "Blems" (could not see the blemishes) and black Bytes to walk in. I rotate rather than wear one pair over and over and then throw it away, so I have 5 or 6 pairs total for 6 rounds a week.

    • Day 549, May 4, 2024 After lessons and working with Natalie, hit some balls for awhile. Just backswing stuff. Forgot about the slightly shorter stuff, though I'm sure it was as they were only about 75% speed with brief pauses.

    • Best drive I've ever hit: I will not be answering any questions about the rest of the hole. Or the round, for that matter.
    • I tried hybrids way back when TaylorMade introduced the copper orange Firesole Rescue, the clubhead having been made of titanium which was still relatively new even in drivers back then. I couldn't hit it well at all, and while the success of hybrids suggests that the modern ones must be quite good,  I'm perfectly happy with the 5, 7, and 9-woods.  Early ones of mine were Top Flite Intimidator 400s made by Spalding... and also made of titanium, now that I think of it.  I still have them in my basement. I do bag a driving iron, but it's a one-trick-pony that never sees fairway use.
    • The last time I played Maxfli balls, Dunlop was still making them. How long ago was that? Mostly, though, I used to play Top Flites (original 336 dimple model) when Spalding was still making them. Now I play the Pro V1x. Last time that I ordered some, Titleist was still making them. Let's see how long that lasts.
